Architecture, to me, is the art of bridging vision and reality, where the power of imagination encounters the constraints of the tangible world. My years spent shaping educational / public spaces have instilled in me a profound understanding that buildings are more than mere structures; they are living entities that shape interactions and influence the future. This perspective has cultivated a deep desire within me to explore a broader spectrum of diverse and complex projects. Building upon this rich foundation in architecture, I am now passionately expanding my horizons to encompass a diverse range of projects, including residential and commercial spaces, with the aim of creating environments that resonate with cultural depth and possess lasting significance for all who inhabit and interact with them.

Pilsoo earned his Master of Architecture degree from the University of Texas at Austin and subsequently gained valuable architectural experience at Mitchell Giurgola. There, he contributed to a diverse portfolio of educational facilities, spanning from kindergarten to university campuses, as well as laboratories, libraries, courthouses, and various public buildings. In 2024, he established Pilsoo Kim Architect PC and has since been leading a wide array of projects encompassing development, design-build, planning, architecture, interior design, and furniture design.
